A birth chart can give words to what you have always sensed
You may already know your Sun sign (or even your ‘Big Three’ - your Sun, Moon, and Rising), but a birth chart contains much more than a list of placements. Its meaning emerges through the relationships among the planets, signs, houses, and aspects, and through the relationship between the chart and the life you have actually lived.
A reading may help you:
recognize strengths you have minimized or misunderstood;
explore recurring patterns without reducing yourself to them;
understand competing needs within yourself with more compassion;
reflect on relationships, creativity, work, belonging, and purpose;
find language for a transition or identity shift;
distinguish symbolic possibility from prediction; and
identify one or two themes worth tending in everyday life.
The Hearthwise approach
I prepare your chart before we meet, then walk through it with you in clear, human language. I will share traditional astrological symbolism and explain what the chart technically supports, but I will not treat every interpretation as a fact about your personality or history.
The goal is not to hand your authority to an astrologer. It is to leave with a fuller vocabulary for understanding yourself—and greater freedom in how you respond to what you see.

Begin with the essential architecture of your chart: your Sun, Moon, Rising sign, chart ruler, major patterns, and the placements most relevant to the questions or season you bring.
This is a great choice for someone who is new(ish) to natal astrology, has relied mostly on automated chart reports, or wants a coherent introduction to your chart rather than a long list of disconnected traits.
Focused birth chart deep dive
Return to your chart—or begin with a more focused session—to explore a particular theme such as relationships, creativity, vocation, family patterns, boundaries, purpose, or a major transition.
We can also use a return or transit as a symbolic lens when appropriate, while staying honest about what can and cannot be calculated without exact birth and location information.

Curious about astrology but unsure where to begin—or ready to move beyond memorizing signs and planets?
These personalized mentoring sessions help you understand the building blocks of astrology, practice reading charts, and develop your own grounded, intuitive approach. Bring your questions, your learning goals, and your curiosity; we’ll move at a pace that works for you.
What to expect
Before the session, you will share your birth date, birth location, and exact birth time if known, along with anything you would especially like to explore. If you do not know your exact birth time, we can still have a meaningful reading; the Rising sign, houses, and other timing-sensitive details may simply be unavailable or less precise.
During our conversation, I will translate the chart’s technical structure, connect its themes to the questions you bring, and make room for reflection rather than rushing through every possible placement.
You will leave with:

language or questions you can continue working with; and
a password-protected link to a your chart, with reflection prompts, and small practice for integration
